Wolf Hall filming locations can be visited in GloucestershirePosted on 18th February 2015
The filming locations of popular TV drama Wolf Hall can now be visited as part of a new trail, which is depicted by a map.
Telling the story of the rise of Thomas Cromwell, the series was filmed entirely in the UK last summer and included locations such as Gloucester Cathedral, Chavenage House, and Stanway House and Fountain in Gloucestershire.
Approximately 40 per cent of the properties used for filming were owned by the National Trust, including Horton House in South Gloucestershire, who have teamed up with the other locations in order to produce the map.
The map includes 18 locations and will allow for fans to step into the world that Thomas Cromwell once experienced, as documented in the hit BBC2 programme. Those staying nearby to Gloucester in Forest of Dean holiday cottages can purchase the map from the National Trust.
The sixth episode is due to be aired on television screens on Wednesday 25th February.
