The Forest of Dean’s Red Bus cottage features in London magazinePosted on 14th September 2016
A popular London parenting magazine and website recently highlighted a well-known Hideaways cottage that has its home in the Forest of Dean. The Red Bus has captured the attention and imagination of travellers for years, and has recently featured in Angels & Urchins.
“This classic red double-decker bus is parked in peaceful wooded hills and fields on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Sleeping six, the lower deck now incorporates a cleverly-designed fitted kitchen/dining area and snug sleeping cabin, and the upper deck a sitting/relaxation space, with three more sleeping cabins and small bathroom,” the magazine wrote about the unique holiday property.
Located in Pope’s Hill, this holiday cottage is a modified 1970s bus. It is available for two-night bookings and can accommodate six people, with a four adult maximum. It is dog-friendly and non-smoking. It is located near Littledean just east of the River Severn. It is the perfect gateway to the Forest of Dean and all the area has to offer to tourists and visitors.
The feature in the London magazine is not the first time The Red Bus has appeared in UK media. It has been featured on the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley tourism website and was featured in a video by the family bloggers Are We There Yet, as well as being highly rated on Trip Advisor.
There are so many great holiday cottages in the Forest of Dean to choose from. At all times of the year, it is the perfect escape from our busy lives.
