The world-famous Paddington Bear explored the ancient Forest of Dean and all of its delights last week as part of a nationwide PR tour.
Holidaymakers staying in charming holiday cottages in the Forest of Dean last week were lucky enough to get a glimpse of a huge celebrity; Paddington Bear.
The teddy’s new film was released in the UK on 28th November and as part of the film’s nationwide PR campaign the bear explored the Forest of Dean.
As part of Paddington Bear’s trip to the area he was taken to the Perrygrove Railway station, visited Symonds Yat and sampled some local draughts at the Forest of Dean’s Hillside Brewery.
Maureen McAllister, who is the Executive Director for the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism Association, said, “We were lucky enough to be part of the VisitBritain social media campaign #paddingtonsbritain and the little bear came to see what’s great about this part of the country.”
