Nibley Festival a huge hitPosted on 07th July 2014
The Nibley Festival has been branded as a huge success after hundreds of people turned out for last weekend’s event.
Organisers have said that many of the visitors to the festival, which took place on Saturday 5th July, travelled to attend it whilst staying in luxury holiday cottages in the Forest of Dean and other nearby areas.
The festival was so popular that some visitors actually camped at the site the night before in order to get a good viewing spot to see the number of artists and bands play, which included The Heavy and The Milk.
The Nibley Festival also had a number of food stalls that offered visitors a variety of local foods to taste and this year the annual event had a circus theme that meant many of the attendees were wearing fancy dress.
For the children that visited the event there were a number of craft-making sessions and other activities that took place.
