Posted on 03rd January 2014

A new exhibition of photographs that were taken by the Gloucestershire-based photographer Ian Evans has opened.

The display of images from around the UK and across the Forest of Dean area, including Symonds Yat, are being exhibited at the Dean Heritage Centre, which is located in Soudley, close-by to many good value holiday cottages in the Forest of Dean.

The display of stunning photography, called ‘Out and About’, opened at the end of December and will be available for the general public to come and visit until Sunday 2nd February.

Ian Evans, who became interested in photography from the age of 10, decided to showcase his array of photographs at the Dean Heritage Centre having previously worked there as a volunteer front house representative.

He said, “I am so glad to have the opportunity to exhibit my photography at the Dean Heritage Centre and look forward to sharing them with a wider audience through the centre’s art gallery.”
