Dating from the 17th century, this Grade II listed building has recently been completely restored, retaining as many of its original features as possible. The result is a very comfortable house, graded 4 stars by Visit Britain, with every modern convenience, including underfloor heating, but at the same time full of an atmosphere of age and history - flagstone floors, exposed beams, oak planked doors, bread oven, stone spiral stair; it has everything! There is an enclosed garden around the house with barbecue and access to the adjoining orchard beyond.

Large sitting room with woodburner in inglenook. Fitted kitchen/dining room with woodburner and bespoke Herefordshire oak table to seat 12. Bathroom/wc. with independent shower above the bath. Utility room. Stone spiral stairs at either end of the house. 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles, one having an en suite shower room/wc. Access via the adjoining bedroom to a 3rd bedroom with 3 matching single beds.

Four beautifully converted properties within walking distance of Offa's Dyke.......

Holt Farm lies in attractive, rolling hill country on the borders of Herefordshire and Monmouthshire, at the end of a long private track. It is a wonderful, peaceful location and has immediate access to superb walks and rides. The organically run farm is at 900 feet and a footpath rises behind to a hill with direct access to Offa's Dyke and the Black Mountains, affording extensive views.

There are many attractions within easy driving distance: Hay on Wye (7 miles) - world famous for its bookshops and with a wide range of activites to suit all tastes: historic castles such as Longtown and Llanthony; the lovely cathedral city of Hereford (15 miles) and of course the River Wye itself. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat are approx. half an hour's drive and golf, riding, fishing, canoeing - even gliding! - are available locally. Overall the area offers unrivalled opportunities for the perfect country holiday.
