Llantilio Crossenny Festival of Music and DramaPosted on 01st May 2013
The good weather and bank holidays of May are fast approaching, and those who will be enjoying Forest of Dean cottage holidays next month can also look forward to the 51st Anniversary of the Llantilio Crossenny Festival of Music and Drama. Running from 10-19 May, it is sure to be a memorable few days for many.
The festival kicks off with a Spanish tapas evening with excerpts of Carmen on 10 May, combining delicious food with music from one of the finest operas ever produced. Other evenings will see performances from a male voice choir, the Gwent Young People’s Theatre, a jazz evening and a children’s opera project.
Tickets range from £4 to £20 depending on the event and all are expected to be hugely popular, so those hoping to get involved with the festival are being encouraged to book tickets soon. Tickets can be bought from Eleanor on 07779 225921 or can be purchased online here.
