Go Ape creates junior treetop trail in the Forest of Dean

Posted on 21st August 2015

Go Ape will be unveiling a brand new treetop trail this weekend that is designed for young Tarzans aged 6-12 years old.

Zip Line

As people who have been to holiday cottages and lodges in the Forest of Dean will tell you, Go Ape is one of the biggest attractions in the region, especially for families.

This is set to increase with the news that a junior trail will be opening that includes a number of obstacles and a zip wire.

The Forest of Dean is set to become only the 14th area in the UK to offer this treetop experience for juniors, and is following in the footsteps of other attractions such as Sherwood Pines and Leeds Castle.

Speaking to the Gloucester Citizen, site manager Peter Shackell said, “The addition of the Tree Top Junior course also means that at Go Ape Forest of Dean there’s now truly something for everyone meaning that every family can share adventures this summer.”

Find out more about this attraction, which costs £17 per person, on the Go Ape website.
