Forest of Dean Heritage Weekend to draw in the crowdsPosted on 09th September 2015
The Forest of Dean Heritage Weekend is taking place this week from September 10th-13th and the event is expected to draw in the crowds.
People that are on weekend Forest of Dean cottage holidays will be able to enjoy two days of free events that will celebrate the heritage of the Forest of Dean. As part of the heritage weekend a number of sites that are normally private will be open to the public.
According to an article in the Gloucester Citizen, some of the most popular activities over the weekend include All Saints Church at Newland being open to the public, a tour of the Bespoke Brewery at Mitcheldean, the Women’s Institute’s exhibition on local heritage at Naas Lane and the Verderers Court at Speech House also being open for the public to explore.
