Forest of Dean features in Countryfile Magazine

Posted on 08th November 2013

Spectacular photographs of the Forest of Dean have been used in a five-page feature of the area in the latest BBC Countryfile Magazine.

Cycling and walking in the Forest of Dean have long been popular pastimes, and this feature piece in the BBC Countryfile Magazine takes a closer look at why this is still the case, exploring the natural beauty of the forest, the influence of man on the area and how the Forest of Dean’s wildlife has adapted over the years.

One of the main photographs used in the feature was an image taken by the Forest of Dean-based photographer David Tinsley.

Tinsley told a local newspaper, “I was really thrilled my image was selected and they offered to print the details of my web address which was an added bonus.

“I rushed out to buy a copy as soon as it was in the shops and I am delighted with the end product.”
