The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire is one of the most attractive and abundantly green places in the UK, and as such is home to an incredibly rich and diverse wildlife landscape. Numerous events help residents and visitors to discover this diversity, and one of these, a unique Dragonfly Safari, is coming up soon.
More detailed information on the event can be found on the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust website, but it will be held on August 3rd at 1PM, setting off from the Woorgreens nature reserve. This site is known for its booming dragonfly population, and those attending will learn a great deal about the life cycles, appearance and habitat management of this beautiful species.
