Preparations for one of the biggest festivals in Cheltenham are well underway and fans of soul singer Dionne Warwick who will be enjoying Forest of Dean cottage holidays in May will finally have the chance to get hold of tickets this week on 14 March.
The singer will be just one of the many great performers who will be entertaining the crowds at Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2013, one of the leading jazz festivals in the UK. The festival began in 1996 and has grown in popularity after a number of big names chose to perform at the event, including Van Morrison, Jamie Cullum, Jools Holland, Eartha Kitt and Paloma Faith.
Cheltenham Jazz Festival has received a great deal of praise from critics writing for such newspapers as The Daily Telegraph, The Times and The Independent, something which has no doubt encouraged such legendary performers as Dionne Warwick to perform at the festival.
The line up this year is sure to bring thousands of people to Cheltenham, and some of the best acts billed this year include Lianne La Havas, Ravi Coltrane Quintet, Noisettes, Van Morrison and Laura Mvula.
Tickets for some of the events have sold out, but there are still tickets left for Dionne Warwick, sure to be one of the festival’s top acts, which will go on sale to the public at 10.30am on 14 March. Performing some of her classics such as Walk On By and I Say A Little Prayer, seats are sure to be filled fast.
