Cheltenham Literature Festival ends successfullyPosted on 13th October 2014
The hugely popular Cheltenham Literature Festival ended at the weekend and visitors got to see a host of celebrities over the nine-day event.
With big names such as Kevin Pietersen, Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory, Dame Judi Dench, John Cleese, Chris Tarrant, Sol Campbell and Heston Blumenthal all attending the festival it was no surprise that people on luxurious Forest of Dean cottage holidays and others from across the country turned out in droves to visit the highly-anticipated festival.
Both organisers and visitors are already saying that the event, which ran from October 3rd-12th, was a huge success.
Many pundits suggested that the highlight of the event was Kevin Pietersen talking about his recently released autobiography. At the festival Pietersen discussed topics such as a bullying culture in the current England cricket team and his differences with Andy Flower.
