Posted on 04th October 2013

A Charity Golf Day has been announced at the Forest Hills Golf Club in the Forest of Dean to raise money for the charity The James Hopkins Trust.

Golf Course

The Forest Hills Golf Club charity day, which is on the doorstep of many holiday cottages in the Forest of Dean, will take place on Friday 1st November 2013 and will feature a four-ball stableford competition. The golfers will also receive a two-course carvery lunch.

If you are heading to the Forest of Dean on November 1 then you can also play, as both club members and non-members are being urged to compete at the Coleford course.

Play gets under way at the 18-hole course at 9am and golfers can tuck into a coffee and bacon roll upon arrival. Once the game has finished there will be an awards ceremony, with the top three teams being awarded prizes and the players that win the “nearest to the pin” and “longest drive” competitions also being awarded with gifts.

Tickets cost £25 for members and £35 for non-members.
